It’s a New Year (yay – New Year’s is one of my favorite holidays!). And you want to finally go fully plant-based, and enjoy wonderful vegan food for every meal. You want to feel awesome, live up to your goals, and eat exactly the way your body is meant to. What an amazing goal! So where do you start?
When I started eating more vegan food, and attempting to go fully plant-based, my first course of action was to look up recipes. It actually became my hobby, and I spent many hours googling vegan recipes and attempting to make them at home.
This was a lot of fun, but it was not a sustainable way to go vegan. This is because many recipes you will find online may not fit your taste buds. They may be a little saltier, sweeter, or too sour for your liking.
Now, don’t get me wrong – looking up vegan recipes is wonderful, and extremely inspiring. I have many vegan recipes here on the blog that I know many of you enjoy.
However, I do not recommend even my own recipes to be your only way to make a vegan lifestyle sustainable.
Let me explain why.
I spent hours and hours trying out recipes, and I learned so much, but I also wasted a ton of time. These recipes will not provide you with a complete, well-rounded approach to going plant-based and sustaining it long term.
I want to give you a shortcut.
What I suggest instead is for you to learn how to make delicious vegan food that fits your own taste buds, is quick to make, and that you can change up whenever you want with whatever produce you have on hand.

Vegan Food Plan: What are Vegan Meal Templates? And Why Should I Use Them?
Vegan meal templates are recipes that do not indicate exact ingredients.
They look exactly like regular recipes, but instead of indicating the exact name of a fruit to use, for example, they will indicate the amount and category of food (ie, 1 cup fruit). They will then list out the types of fruit you can choose to use for the given recipe.
The difference between regular recipes (like the ones you find on my blog), and vegan meal templates is that templates give you way more freedom! They allow you to use whatever ingredients you have on hand, shop for whatever is in season or on sale, and enjoy delicious, easy vegan food.
Here is why you should use Vegan Meal Templates:
♥ They are really great for beginners because they allow you just enough flexibility to where you can never go wrong! They list out the amounts you need to use, and the room for failure is very, very small
♥ Vegan Meal Templates are still very flexible for seasoned vegans because they allow you to improvise and make recipes your own – they let you get creative in the kitchen!
♥ They save you A TON OF TIME IN THE KITCHEN. This is because they allow you to use ingredients you already have. Many recipes include complicated and very long ingredient lists. Using Vegan Meal Templates is different – because you make most of the choices about the ingredients you use!
♥ They will turn you into a vegan chef overtime. That’s right, I am quitting my job and handing it over to you. Just kidding 🙂 You will still get inspired by my vegan recipes, courses, and videos, however, you will learn how to create food that tastes good to you and learn your way around the kitchen over time. You will get used to using certain quantities of foods (while measuring), and what foods go well together. This is exactly how I learned to cook!

I do not guarantee that every single meal you make based on these templates will turn out perfectly. However, I do guarantee that you will have fun doing this, and you will create many successful meals that are your own!
