When I first met Debra, she was extremely excited about the vegan diet. She told me how, for 20 years, she had been trying to go vegan because she knew it was the right way to eat.

But something wasn’t working. She’d be able to pull it off for a few months, and would then fall off the wagon again.

This is Debra’s Story.

Failure After Failure and The Fear of Not Feeling Satisfied

On our very first call together, when I told Debra about my coaching program, she sounded excited.

I could feel that she wanted to eat this way.

She told me about how much she believed in a whole food, plant based diet. But no matter how many times she tried switching, she couldn’t stick to it.

The main reason was lack of satisfaction: piling a bunch of vegetables on her plate did not keep Debra full for long.

Over the years, her busy schedule and responsiblities at home prompted her to fall into a patter of eating unhealthy foods. In her efforts to lose weight, Debra tried many diets, but none of them made her feel good, even if they did help her lose the weight. She knew that these calorically-restricted diets were not the answer for long-term health.

The many failed attempts to eat plant based also made Debra question whether she could succeed, even when getting support by me, a professional plant based coach.

Debra’s Transformation

After I promised that I would give over 100% to always keep her accountable, andnever let her fail, Debra decided to go for it!

While the first three days were extremely tough for her – she experienced intense detox reactions, she was extremely strong and stuck to it.

After the first week of following the meal plan I provided for her, she started feeling amazing. In fact, she felt her arthritis pain disappate.

After about 3 weeks, she said that this lfiestyle is truly becoming a habit that she would stick to.

And after 4 weeks? Well, it became effortless!

Debra told me that she could never go back, because “why would I go back from the best thing?”

When you discover something that brings you health, why would you ever leave it, right?

And I want to share with you the most amazing thing that happened to Debra. And this thing is what I truly want for every one of my clients, because there is nothing more beautiful.

During our last coaching session, I asked Debra to summarize this experience, and the best part of it. And she said, “I now have true peace in my heart”. During New Year’s, she looked back at this year, and for the first time, she felt that she did everything she could to better her life. No regrets, and no looking back!
